As of mid June 2011, earthworks and foundation works for both the tower block and car park block of The Westside One have been duly completed. Additionally, The Perdana Parkcity Management is also pleased to inform that structural works for the lower ground and ground floor of the tower block have also been completed as well. Currently, structural works for the tower block are in progress from Level 1 to Level 2, and Desa ParkCity look forward to bringing you further updates for The Westside One in the months to come.

Good health was the focus of Mother's Day at Desa ParkCity this year and amidst the fun that families had celebrating this day, many took the opportunity to take part in the special health programs that were organized jointly by Assunta Medical Centre and Perdana ParkCity.  Held at The ParkCity Club on May 7 from 10 am - 4 pm, the programs included breast cancer check-ups, blood pressure and BMI (Body Mass Index) check-ups and free consultations with a professional dietitian.  Many were enlightened by the information offered by the medical professionals from Assunta Medical Centre, especially pertaining to the misconceptions on dietary habits.

On April 23 and 24, 2011, The Waterfront at ParkCity was the center of Easter activities for the whole family.  A collaboration between Renowned Point and Trinkets Trail, Art Workshop and Petsmore, the Easter festivities included some very vendor displays and fun-filled Easter activities.  There was an Easter Bazaar offering a delectable selection of Easter eggs and chocolate candies, tole painting, Sand-Art and Acrylic painting, fashion and accessories and even plants.

On 23 April 2011, the annual Fire Prevention Workshop at Desa ParkCity was held in conjunction with the Fire Prevention Council of Malaysia's (FIPCOM) 1st anniversary.  With the support of Perdana ParkCity, FIPCOM had a series of fire prevention educational activities at The ParkCity Club, focusing on children from age 4 to 10 years of age.  This year saw enthusiastic participation from 33 kids.  Before the actual training, the kids got a chance to see a fire engine up close.  They especially liked the loud siren that the fire brigade officers turned on.  Soon after that, the kids began their training at the multi-purpose hall where they had fun dressing up in exclusive fire brigade uniforms while they learned emergency survival techniques.
